My Place Hotel-Kansas City/Independence, MO

Billed as an “Economy Extended Stay” hotel it is still great for people traveling through the area. Bed is really comfortable. I had a single queen size bed. There is a kitchenette and a recliner to lounge away in. Room was spotless staff are great. It was a super quiet stay.

We will always go every month till we need a pool best place for the price beds are not soft but that’s every where unless you can afford an expensive place so for the money it was the best most places their are dirty this place was clean that’s important

From reservation to checkout, everyone I dealt with was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The facilities were all neat & clean. And the cost was more than competitive. I can heartily recommend this hotel for your next stay in the Kansas City area.

Very clean. Great staff. Lots of amenities in the room. My only critique is that breakfast is not included and they don't have an excellent breakfast for purchase either. It's a frozen breakfast sandwich and a side like a piece of fruit or a pop tart and a beverage. If an excellent breakfast is important to you, for instance if you're going to go to a sports competition, that would be the only shortcoming, as in my opinion it's not quite adequate for that purpose.

We came here for few days but then we have to extend our stay and the hotel give us good deal for extended time . Staff is very friendly and helpful, very clean rooms with self facilities. And when needed they provide us extra blankets and pillows also. We have good time here.

My husband booked this hotel because he saw good price. I usually like to stay more fancy expensive hotel like marriot or intercontinental, so I feel not sure. But when we come, I feel very happy and surprise. People at front desk are friendly and help us very fast. Check-in is easy, no problem. Room is clean and have everything we need. Bed is soft, look nice, and feel very comfortable. I can see they take care of guests. For this price, I think very good. Now I think maybe I don’t need to pay more money for big hotel next time. One young man, his name Kevin, he work at front desk. He is very good, very kind and professional businessperson. He smile and help me with many question—how to go places, how far, what to do, uber lyft or taxi. He make me and my husband feel so valuable special. We want to stay here again. If you come here, I hope you feel same like us. I don’t think you be disappointed.

I had a great experience at this hotel. I was skeptical at first given the area and the ratings online, but this was a very clean and well kept hotel. The rooms were very nice (VERY comfortable beds and soft towels) and had amenities like an ice maker and sink with dish soap to wash dishes, as well as a stove . The staff I interacted with were also very kind. I was doing a cross-country move passing through Kansas City and my car broke down. Jodie at the front desk was extremely kind and understanding and even allowed me an extension to stay in my room to ensure my car was okay to drive. She also answered all of my questions regarding surveillance and security for the hotel since my car was packed with things. Other than great customer service, this hotel is also very close to a lot of restaurants and provides shade for wherever you park your car in the lot.

I just went to look at my place and I was having some apprehension but Courtney at the front desk was so awesome to almost read my mind because she said would you like to see a unit Courtney is not only professional, but she’s also personable. She answered questions she was able to give me the highlights of the facility to be able to tell me exactly what to expect in my stay. I was apprehensive, but now she has put me at total ease. I appreciate Courtney .
